No crafting for me today unless you call making a miniature kite with the school's toddler group crafting. Ah, I suppose it was!
This weekend I am focused on Glasgow's Doors Open Day. Our school, The Glasgow Steiner School, is in a beautiful old building that has been a school ever since it was built almost 150 years ago in 1876. This is the first year that our building has been involved in the doors open day which is a kind of festival where buildings all over the city, many of which the public wouldn't normally have access to, allow people to visit them.
We have absolutely no idea how many people will visit as venues in the past have has as little as a couple of hundred up on to the thousands. We are going to have lots of activities and I am running a little cafe for the two days (Sat and Sun).
So, Tonight I am going to be over there cooking up giant pots of veggie chili, corn chowder and loads of sandwiches. Wish me luck and come and see us if you are in the area!
