A Lovely Weekend

It's been a lovely weekend! It actually started on Friday as we had a holiday from school. So myself and my best girl (Petal) went into town with our little girls for an afternoon out. It was Petal's birthday and we had shopping and lunch planned, a real girl's day out!
We met in George Square and the weather was great so we immediately gave Petal her gifts. Both of us are crafters and we had decided that from now on all gifts we give will be handmade or supplies for hand making things. Of course, a big source of giftables for both of us is Etsy!
So, for this birthday I got her a lovely little bird and nest from Beetle and Bloom. She makes beautiful flowers.

Also, gorgeous Lantern Moon knitting needles in ebony,a gift voucher from VV Rouleaux and a vintage photo album for scrapbooking.

The last two days have involved a whole load of sewing and getting things ready for next months craft show. I am working on some new animals and a couple of halloween items including Pirate Cat, Goth Kitty and little ghosts.
