A Sunny Day!

Yay! A sunny day! Well, some people may live in a place where a sunny day is a given but here in scotland, that's just not so. I love living in Scotland and it's a beautiful country, even in the middle of the city where I live but, in the winter it's dark. Now I know it's not technically winter yet (is it?) but it is cold, brrrrrr. Also quite damp and it's definitely getting darker by the day.

All of this means that I have been thinking about how to get decent photos of my crafts for etsy when I use natural light. Well, along comes a day like today which is a perfect autumn day; crisp, clear, a slight chill in the air and SUNNY! So we set out for the garden and took lots of photos of things that have just been waiting for a day like today.
The peanut was even willing to model for me!


So, t'shirts, pillow pals and 'make your own' kits are soon to be showing up in my shop. It will be interesting to see how diversifying changes the shop.


Next task, prepare for my mother in law arriving tomorrow! Contrary to the usual mother in law scenario, I love mine. She's awesome and it's been nearly two years since we last saw her. She's in California and we are in Scotland. Don't even get me started on how excited the peanut is!
