I bet you didn't know that along with shoddy flat pack furniture they also sell love at IKEA. No disrespect to IKEA by the way as I love it as much as the next style conscious cheapskate but let's face it, the furniture cool as it may be, isn't exactly heirloom quality.
They do have some absolutely brilliant fabrics though and that is where I found my love. Nestled right there in with the rest of the fabrics as lovely as those others were, they weren't "the one". Unfortunately they only had three metres of my love left. Upon reflection this may actually be a good thing because instead of sewing and writing blogs posts which insult both major furniture chains and stylish yet cheap people, I would in fact be wrapping myself in this fabric and rolling around while moaning.
Instead I have made a dress with it.
Is it wrong to admit that I hesitated for a good while before writing this post thinking that I had to protect my stash in the form of future stock (please, please get more in!) from anyone who might run out and buy some?

Love it!! I like black and white. And that fabric reminds me of the 1950's black and white pattern on my few remaining bits of Home Maker tea set pieces. Wish it wasn't so expensive on Ebay!

Also, on ebay is a homemaker cake stand... I NEED it, I WANT it!! And also a coffee pot that has a price of £155 on it!!
